Today was awesome. During my first class of the day, two of my friends came in with a balloon and sang happy birthday to me. And almost everyone signed the balloon! My friend was trying to hide the balloon behind her back when she was coming in... she's so cute. I have the best friends ever. And I have the best mom ever--she took me and my friend out to dinner for lobster, and we just had a great night out. (Her friend also came in unexpectedly. I had never met him before, but he was really nice and I had heard a lot about him from before... he offered to do my hair for prom. Ha ha.)

Speaking of prom... it's tomorrow!!! I'm so excited. And then on Friday we have to get up at four in the morning because there's a school trip to Sea World. It's been a busy week. XD

AND... I got a new computer. Best birthday ever. :D

I had a nice break -- two of my friends came over the other day and we went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, which is pretty much the most adorable movie in ever. Go see it. You'll drown in all the cute. I <3 it.

For Christmas, I got Avatar Book 1 and 2 on DVD (it was pretty funny because my mom and rosweldrmr got the same thing. Happened last year too, except with Harry Potter books). They're all colorful and sleek and I just want to rub my cheek against them. Hee. I also got season one of Heroes too. Still haven't seen any season two eps, but eh. I'm happy.

Also! I got Firefly and the movie Serenity, which I pretty much watched two times over this break, because it's really awesome and everyone should see it. Yes.

And, and, and... rosweldrmr actually wrote fanfic for my ORIGINAL FIC. Right here. I... I think I short-circuited with all the squee. ILU, Ash. You're super nice.

So! For my New Year's Resolution, I guess I'll... do more stuff. Like keep doing good in school. And having fun with my friends. Or writing more Kon/Yuzu and Luna/Krum fic for cupcakexpirate. Yep.

So! I'm finally on break. Joy! My school day basically consisted of candy-cane-in-mouth pictures, Santa hats, board games, chocolate covered cherries, iTunes, my math teacher rapping, NOT working, and the mandatory dirty word on Scrabble.

It was a really, really good day.

On a more cheery note... happy holidays, everyone! I'm going to Santa's Enchanted Forest later tonight! Yay!!!

And I went to this school fair earlier - it's supposed to help you pick an academy for next year. I really think I want to go into Legal and Public Affairs - Law, really. They're divided into Law and Criminal Justice, and both sound really interesting. They had a really good presentation, and the people were really nice and helpful. It's a lottery thing though, so I don't know if I'll get into that program. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope I do.

And... I'm writing an original story. It's at 9 pages right now. GASP.

So we had this career workshop today. Problem is is that I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. And it sort of scares me a bit because everyone else seems to know and I don't. /worry moment/

Besides that, I'm okay. BUT CAN SOMEONE PLEASE RESCUE ME FROM DOING NOTHING THIS WEEKEND? I feel like my brain is going to explode and like I should be calling everyone on my contact list, but I know I can't do that. Usually Wendy and Jenny let me stay over at their house, but school is pulling them under and I just want to cuddle. *wibbles*

THE BEGINNING IS THE BEST THING STEPHANIE MEYER HAS EVER SAID.

I went to the water slide with my friend the other day. It was okay, but it rained almost the whole time we were there. But that's okay... we got a great picture of my friend being all covered in sand from head to toes, so it was all worth it just for that. And the water there was actually pretty warm... but that could just be the pee. Thanks for that, mom.

Also: found out Ouran was licensed by Funimation, which means DVDs. I love this show.

( And speaking of Ouran... I finally am putting something coherent about it in here. Anime spoilers. )

Random thoughts: God, I hate socks.

I'm so tired... I went and saw HP OotP today with my friend, which, just to let you know, was awesome. I loved watching some of my favorite parts of the books come up on the screen (Oh, god. I loooooooved Luna. She was absolutely PERFECT). I know some people like to compare it to the books, and yes, I admit I was comparing stuff, but I tried not to. It didn't make me like the movie any less, though. Complete love.

My friend does have more of an eye for pointing stuff out between the book and the movie... near the beginning with Order coming and getting Harry, where it just shows them coming out of the house, he leans over to me and says, "Wasn't Harry supposed to read a letter from Dumbledore?" and I just sorta whisper back, "Well... guess they skipped over that." But then I remember someone mentioned it again, and was like, "Heh. Okay."

I got ice cream at the mall afterwards... I asked his dad if he needed any money for the stuff, and he just gave me this very straight look and said, "NO." Haha... they're really nice. Then I went over to his house and he beat the shit outta me on his Dance Dance Revolution game. And his DBZ game. And then he tried to teach me how to play chess because he's all patient like that, but ZOMGWTF I'm never touching that board again. Yes, I know I suck.

Right... then I went over to my other friend's house and we drank Cuban coffee (which was REALLY strong. Yuck) and watched Ouran High School Host Club, because it's just so awesome and it DESERVES to be rewatched. Again. And again. And again some more. We got to like... episode 11 before I finally had to leave and go home because my brain be DED from overexposure to dark wizards and cracked-out cross dressers. Go figure.

Overall, it was a great day. I'm going to bed now.

I'd like to give a huge shout out to zharya who most likely isn't even reading this but who I still love to pieces anyway, who just joined LJ -- you've come over to the dark side, Silvery. Muwahaha.

Guh... I watched the whole entire Bount arc in like... four days. To tell you the truth, they weren't all that bad (or maybe my standards have been lowered after watching the Naruto fillers). I didn't really like the ending with Kariya though. SO STUPID. Can't wait until they animate the newer manga chapters though. I love the Arrancar, especially Ulquiorra and Grimmjow.

And... I think it's safe to say I'll pretty much pair Orihime up with anyone. No, seriously. Throw a pairing with her at me and we'll see. There's enough boob to go around for all.

Wrist checkup has been changed until tomorrow. To 10 in the morning. I am not amused. D: Not to mention I had to go to the doctor today as well for THREE shots. MY ARMS ARE ACHING. MAKE IT STOP.

And my friend left me and went to Washington DC for three weeks, and my other friend left me and went to Cuba. I am very saddened by this. Therefore, hopefully this whiny/angsty post has been justified.

BUT! My mom makes me feel better:

I've mostly just heard a lot of praise for the series, and decided to give it a try and... Yes. Just yes. I'm happy I started reading it -- but I'll write more later, since I've been neglecting poor LJ. Until then -- time for nap. And food.

I had a great time on my birthday... I went and saw Disturbia after going out to eat with a friend -- I really enjoyed it. I think I might've jumped on top of my friend a couple of times because darn it, didn't expect some o' that to happen and yeah. I heart Ronnie.

Squee. My friend gave me this gorgeous heart shaped necklace that cost her $30, and I was like, "WHAT? YOU CRAZY PERSON THANK YOU IT'S WONDERFUL!" Yes. Just like that.

And look! I wrote InuYasha/Sango!

This Thursday, we had Take Your Child To Work Day -- no, I didn't go (I know, right?), but I loved school that day... seriously. We frickin' didn't do anything besides watch TV and eat brownies a friend brought because there was only like 10 kids in each class. And I didn't get run over in the halls.

Yay.

And it's my birthday in less than two weeks! I'm going out to dinner with my mom and my bestest best friend in-the-whole-wide-world, and then we're going out to see a movie!

Double yay. And all of this on a Monday, too. Eep!

Pwuh. Also watched about 20 episodes of Bleach in one night not too long ago... stopped at 53 right now, but holy molly, I love it... even if I sometimes forget a character's name right after they say it. *peep!*
