Happy New Year, everyone! Hope you all had a good holiday/Christmas/whatever it is that you celebrate! I had a nice break -- two of my friends came over the other day and we went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, which is pretty much the most adorable movie in ever. Go see it. You'll drown in all the cute. I <3 it.

For Christmas, I got Avatar Book 1 and 2 on DVD (it was pretty funny because my mom and rosweldrmr got the same thing. Happened last year too, except with Harry Potter books). They're all colorful and sleek and I just want to rub my cheek against them. Hee. I also got season one of Heroes too. Still haven't seen any season two eps, but eh. I'm happy.

Also! I got Firefly and the movie Serenity, which I pretty much watched two times over this break, because it's really awesome and everyone should see it. Yes.

( Oh, and I'm writing a fic for it now. BUT... *standard spoiler warning for movie* )

And, and, and... rosweldrmr actually wrote fanfic for my ORIGINAL FIC. Right here. I... I think I short-circuited with all the squee. ILU, Ash. You're super nice.

So! For my New Year's Resolution, I guess I'll... do more stuff. Like keep doing good in school. And having fun with my friends. Or writing more Kon/Yuzu and Luna/Krum fic for cupcakexpirate. Yep.

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! I went with bmcsmartypants to eat with her family, which was really nice. Everyone is really crazy in the best way possible. ;) And I got to watch Ratatouille for the first time in ever. It was really cute and hilarious and made me go EW RATS IN THE KITCHEN even though I know it shouldn't have. Ha ha.

And bmcsmartypants knocked me over with her butt. No, really. It hit my face.

I wrote Kaoru/Renge fic (Similarities and Differences) for zharya, who was shoving me hinting for me oh so gently to finish it and who also got me into joining this Vampire RP. XD. I know it's weird and crack and it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but... it does to ME. Because it would be cute. And possibly really, really awkward, which I love. So! There should be more Kaoru/Renge. Lots and lots of it. Because the show is crack anyway, so why NOT? That's my excuse! (I need an icon...)

P.S. And I AM working on those challenges from last time. I haven't forgotten! I promise.

P.P.S. I watched the first episode of Princess Tutu. It's really WEIRD, but charming. I'll watch more. :D

HAY GUYS. Nothing much is going on right now... it was my grandpa's birthday a few days ago, and we took him out to eat. It was really good -- he had a really great time, and it seemed to help him relax. Very glad for that. He's been really stressed out lately.

Oh, and did I mention that my physical therapist likes Harry Potter? It's so awesome; she's like, massaging my wrist or I'm working with the weights and we're basically going, "So what do you think of Deathly Hallows so far?" "Oh, I love it. Especially this part and this part..." and yeah. She's really nice and I like her a lot. And I also went and saw HP5 AGAIN last weekend with Red. It was great.

Summer vacation has officially started for me. I think I did the happy jig when I got out of that classroom and away from my finals (and I got an A in my Business Tech. class. Score!) Jeebus, some kids there are really rowdy on the last day of school -- it really can tick a person off when someone is screaming at their mother that she's a "bitch" because she's honking at them when they won't get out of the road. :/ Fail.

And what the heck, brain? I shouldn't be writing Death Note fanfic right now. I should be doing other shiny things like sleeping or doing something that's actually constructive like studying or... something. But I found the idea of Misa after the series too much to pass up (and to maybe get into her thoughts a little more. There has to be something in her head other than Light, right? ... right?)

I had a great time on my birthday... I went and saw Disturbia after going out to eat with a friend -- I really enjoyed it. I think I might've jumped on top of my friend a couple of times because darn it, didn't expect some o' that to happen and yeah. I heart Ronnie.

Squee. My friend gave me this gorgeous heart shaped necklace that cost her $30, and I was like, "WHAT? YOU CRAZY PERSON THANK YOU IT'S WONDERFUL!" Yes. Just like that.
