Prom was fun. Sea World... not so much. I won't go into it.

But anyway! I read the most amazing Final Fantasy VII fic the other day, called Sunshine In Winter. It's Yuffie/Vincent (yes, I'm one of those). And it made me laugh until I was out of breath. But mostly it broke my heart into a million pieces and made me cry like a baby. I know this thing has probably been recced, like, everywhere, but I couldn't help it. It's just that good. So even if you're not a Vincent/Yuffie fan, you should read it. Or if you like Final Fantasy VII at all, you should read it.

I also saw the Twilight trailer a couple days ago too. I'm getting excited. Same with Avatar. I'm sad the series is ending soon, but I want to know how it ends. Argh.

Today was awesome. During my first class of the day, two of my friends came in with a balloon and sang happy birthday to me. And almost everyone signed the balloon! My friend was trying to hide the balloon behind her back when she was coming in... she's so cute. I have the best friends ever. And I have the best mom ever--she took me and my friend out to dinner for lobster, and we just had a great night out. (Her friend also came in unexpectedly. I had never met him before, but he was really nice and I had heard a lot about him from before... he offered to do my hair for prom. Ha ha.)

Speaking of prom... it's tomorrow!!! I'm so excited. And then on Friday we have to get up at four in the morning because there's a school trip to Sea World. It's been a busy week. XD

AND... I got a new computer. Best birthday ever. :D

I finished playing Kingdom Hearts the other day (because I'm a crap gamer and haven't finished until now). It's amazing.

So now I'm getting into Final Fantasy VII. Which is also amazing despite the graphics in the original game being... not so good. The funniest thing about it was when I told my (male) friend about it, though.

We fangirled it together. Yes, he's a total fangirl. I was all, "I like this pairing!" and he's all, "That's cool, but I really think this would be better," "Oh, I see where you're going. How about this? That would be hot," "I guess. Oh, and isn't Cid a total badass?"

In girly!me news, I'm going dress shopping with my mom today because prom's in a few weeks. I'm not usually into the whole 'dance' thing, but almost all of my friends are gonna be there, and we're going to be goofing off a lot and telling inside jokes and just being big dorks. So I'm excited.

I just might have an actual idea for a Hiei/Botan fic. Maybe. Perhaps. We'll see. In my head, it takes place post-series with the aftermath of all the crazy stuff that happened in the last arc (which means "Hiei's new job") and Botan just being... Botan. And we all know what that means.

So I'll see how it goes.

Is... it real? I almost cried my eyes out when I saw it; and pretty much jumped around my house like a crazy person. My mom thought there was something wrong with me (and maybe there is). But... but. *hyperventilates* OH MY GOD. I don't care that it's probably gonna suck. Or if the characters are different (I really hope that won't happen, though) and that we get the next-gen kids from the manga. Or that it's a total gimmick for the toys (what the crap, metal? Can't they foresee the injuries that'll come from that?) I'll still watch it and probably adore it.

Spring Break is finally here! Now I get to indulge myself with strawberry cheesecake and Other Cool Things.

Ha ha... I went through some of my folders the other day and noticed a bunch of unfinished fic. I had a butt-load of Beyblade (don't I always?), two Ouran Host, a Sokka/Azula, and a multi-chapter Bleach fic of the Grimmjow/Orihime variety. Whoa. Maybe I'll actually finish them... sometime soon.

But anyway. To kick start the break, and since I now have a lot of time to sit at home and be a big nerd, how about you guys give me a prompt/pairing/something-you'd-like-to-see-written and I'll try my best and write it. ;)

Oh, and I read this adorable Hiro-Nathan fic awhile ago: Lunch Break. I can't believe I haven't pimped it out yet -- I loved the interaction between Hiro and Nathan in season one, and this little fic just captures that perfectly. Awkwaaaaaard.

I got into one of my schools of choice! It wasn't the first on my list, but the second one accepted me. I'm so relieved; now I know where I'm going next year for school. And, for my academy, I'll be taking... Veterinary Assistant!!! Yay.

So I'm finally done with all my FCAT. I think I did pretty well. Although I still hate having to take them. It's almost all we prepare for all year, and it just feels like a huge waste of time. Blah. I don't see why they're so important.

I went to Orlando the weekend before last. I had the best time ever. The group I went with were all really nice, and we all went on a bunch of rides (the Mummy was ridden twice. Our expressions from the pictures were priceless).

I went and made an Elle vid. It has some of all my favorite ships that involve her, like Elle/Peter, Elle/Mohinder, Elle/Noah, Elle/Sylar, Elle/Claire, and of course the screwed up father/daughter relationship between Elle & Bob. Yeah, I don't know either. First try at vidding an actual TV show, so yay for me. Oh, and I also put up my Rei/Mariah vid. It's pretty much just their relationship during season one -- and look! I can do canon couples too! I just seem to have a soft spot for them.

I'm also watching Yu Yu Hakusho again. It was what I was watching before any of my other anime fandoms. It's old, but I love it sooooo much. Hiei/Botan forevah!!!

For our yearbook at school, we had to take this picture for our introduction page. This year it's in the form of an 08. Who formed the 08? Yeah, us. We all had to lay down on the ground and make the curves while our teacher stood on top of a bench and took a picture of us all (she took like nine pictures before she was satisfied too).

My face was way too close to a squashed Snickers candy bar for comfort. But it was fun. I almost kicked my classmate in the head.

Holy CRAP! I've FINALLY caught up with season 2 of Heroes.

Happy New Year, everyone! Hope you all had a good holiday/Christmas/whatever it is that you celebrate! I had a nice break -- two of my friends came over the other day and we went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, which is pretty much the most adorable movie in ever. Go see it. You'll drown in all the cute. I <3 it.

For Christmas, I got Avatar Book 1 and 2 on DVD (it was pretty funny because my mom and rosweldrmr got the same thing. Happened last year too, except with Harry Potter books). They're all colorful and sleek and I just want to rub my cheek against them. Hee. I also got season one of Heroes too. Still haven't seen any season two eps, but eh. I'm happy.

Also! I got Firefly and the movie Serenity, which I pretty much watched two times over this break, because it's really awesome and everyone should see it. Yes.

And I went to this school fair earlier - it's supposed to help you pick an academy for next year. I really think I want to go into Legal and Public Affairs - Law, really. They're divided into Law and Criminal Justice, and both sound really interesting. They had a really good presentation, and the people were really nice and helpful. It's a lottery thing though, so I don't know if I'll get into that program. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope I do.

And... I'm writing an original story. It's at 9 pages right now. GASP.

And... I found out that another two of my friends are Avatar fans. I flipped out. I didn't get to talk to them for long, because my mom was waiting for me in the parking lot, but I know that they're loving season 3 so far and that one of them adores Toph (who doesn't adore Toph?) and has Katara as a second favorite. And one said she likes Toph and Sokka together.

LOVE!!! I had no idea they were Avatar fans. I MUST pay more attention from now on.

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! I went with bmcsmartypants to eat with her family, which was really nice. Everyone is really crazy in the best way possible. ;) And I got to watch Ratatouille for the first time in ever. It was really cute and hilarious and made me go EW RATS IN THE KITCHEN even though I know it shouldn't have. Ha ha.

And bmcsmartypants knocked me over with her butt. No, really. It hit my face.

I wrote Kaoru/Renge fic (Similarities and Differences) for zharya, who was shoving me hinting for me oh so gently to finish it and who also got me into joining this Vampire RP. XD. I know it's weird and crack and it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but... it does to ME. Because it would be cute. And possibly really, really awkward, which I love. So! There should be more Kaoru/Renge. Lots and lots of it. Because the show is crack anyway, so why NOT? That's my excuse! (I need an icon...)

P.S. And I AM working on those challenges from last time. I haven't forgotten! I promise.
